Not as pleasant as you would expect
The hotel felt old, dated and rather tired, and unfortunately it was not quite what I had expected based on the pictures online. The rooms and general atmosphere could definitely benefit from some updating and refurbishment. Overall, the stay was disappointing and I would probably not choose to stay here again.
To be honest, I was also a little underwhelmed by Voss itself. It is a fairly small place, and apart from the surrounding scenery, I did not find that much to see or do during my stay. Perhaps it suits people coming specifically for outdoor activities, but for me the destination did not really live up to expectations. Unfortunately, I did not particularly enjoy my stay, either at the hotel or in Voss in general.
