Not worth the money...
Jeez... I honestly do not understand the hype.
The mountains around Voss are nice enough, but in my opinion they are far from spectacular enough to justify the extremely expensive ticket price for the gondola. You pay a lot of money simply to be transported to the top of a relatively modest mountain, and the ride itself is over almost before you have had time to enjoy it.
Once at the top, the views are pleasant, but certainly not something I would describe as breathtaking or worth the price charged. Norway has countless places where you can enjoy far more impressive mountain scenery for little or no money at all.
For me, the whole experience felt heavily overpriced for what you actually get. Yes, the gondola is modern and convenient, and you reach the top very quickly, but that is about it.
If you have limited time or money during your trip through Norway, I would spend both elsewhere. There are much more impressive mountain experiences available without paying such an excessive price.
Disappointing overall, and definitely not something I would pay to do again.
