The location is probably the strongest point of this hotel. It sits right beside the train and bus station, which makes it very convenient if you are arriving by public transport. We had a room facing the railway and were actually impressed by how little noise came through the windows.

Unfortunately, the rest of the stay did not really justify the high price.

Check-in felt disorganized, with several groups arriving at the same time, and there simply did not seem to be enough elevators for a hotel of this size. Waiting for one became a regular annoyance. The corridors also looked surprisingly worn for what appears to be a fairly modern hotel, with dirty and stained carpets in several places.

The room itself was decent and had a small sitting area, but there was no kettle or coffee-making facility. The bathroom was much worse. The shower design made it almost impossible to avoid getting water all over the surrounding area. The sink was also frustrating, with strange water pressure and a drain that did not cope particularly well.

Another odd feature was the room door. It did not lock immediately when leaving unless you used the key card, which was not explained clearly and could easily catch guests out.

Breakfast had plenty of choice, but during the busy period the staff struggled to clear tables and keep everything organized.

Very convenient location and good soundproofing, but there were simply too many small problems for a hotel charging this much.
